How Gnomestack works

Gnomestack is a paid-newsletter platform for DemocracyCraft, run by GnomeCorp. Writers publish, and readers subscribe, follow, or unlock individual posts. It all runs on server currency, with a custodial wallet that makes purchases instant.

For readers

  1. Sign in with Discord and link your Minecraft account.
  2. Add funds to your wallet by paying Gnomestack in-game. It's credited automatically, with no fee.
  3. Follow any publication for free to get its posts in your inbox. To read paid posts, subscribe to a tier, buy a time-limited pass, or unlock just that post.

For writers

  1. Link your Minecraft account, then start a publication with a name, description, and an about page.
  2. Write posts in Markdown and choose how each one is gated: free, paid (any subscriber/pass), or limited to a tier. Optionally let readers unlock a post à la carte.
  3. Set up subscription tiers and passes. Earnings land in your publication's escrow as they come in.
  4. Withdraw to your Minecraft account any time. There are no payout fees.

Our fee

There is no platform fee. Creators keep 100% of every subscription, pass, and post unlock. Adding funds and withdrawing are free too.

Safety

Every balance is fully backed by real server currency held by Gnomestack and reconciled continuously. Funds move on a double-entry ledger, and publications can be reported and moderated. Only subscribe to writers you trust. GnomeCorp isn't responsible for the content publishers produce.
