House candidate's promotional food-kind gift or just a publicity stunt?

Reveille- At spawn this afternoon, food was given out to promote the election of BennyBoi2187 for a house seat with the tagline "Benny reps the many!" Two kinds of food were given out from my observance, being burgers and pancakes. I unfortunately was unable to get a screenshot of the pancakes, but I did get a screenshot of the burgers.
