A Look Back
Looking back on my time as Vice President
A Retrospective
Looking back at my term as Vice President, it's hard to put into words how I feel about how my time went. Focusing on things I do well is something that I need to do more in life. So I want to go over a few of the things I'm proud of! I ran a press conference for the first time! It was exciting and scary and I did it! I wrote and implemented the Presidential Press Corps, paving a way for the executive to have a unified public relations team. While it hasn't been finished yet, I made a ton of progress on reworking fishing. When I have time to finish it, I'm sure you all will have a blast fishing after it's implemented. All of these things were new experiences for me, and while it was stressful to work on them, I can say that I have had a lot of fun doing them.
Now, I have a bunch of things that I wish I could have accomplished, yet failed to find the time or energy to do them. I wish I got the Presidential Press Corps set up and running earlier, wish I finished the fishing rework, and wish I ran more press conferences. There are SO MANY things that I wish I could have done. But, I need to come to terms with the fact that nothing will ever go the way it is planned, despite my best efforts. Putting in that best effort is hard, sometimes stressful, but rewarding.
I tried my best, certainly had some setbacks, and ultimately did what I could. I can say that, at the very least, I am proud with what I have accomplished this term. I hope that you all are proud of me too.
What's Next
I am in a very unique position after my term. I have been in political office in some capacity since September 10th, 2025 , during my time in the 33rd Congress. To be frank, I need to take a break from politics! But if not politics, then what? Honestly, I don't fully know, but I have a few options! I've been eyeing up the legal field for a while, so I would expect to see more of me in the courts :D. Maybe in a couple months, after a nice relaxing vacation, I'll rejoin congress in the senate. Who knows! I can't wait to see what's in store for me.
Thank you all for reading <3
