A Newcomer’s Struggle in Redmont: Justice Denied

When Self-Defense Becomes a Crime: How One Player’s Journey Turned Into a Legal Nightmare.

Strike
June 6, 2026

A fresh start in Redmont should be filled with curiosity and adventure, but things did not turn out that way for one of the recently added players.

The problem occurred in the airport, where a new player named "Glova" found themselves being targeted by another player called "Justken__." Although "Glova" had nothing else but stone tools and not even a single piece of armor, the offender kept attacking him/her with an axe. Trying to survive, the victim tried to save his/her own life from imminent danger.

Things only got worse after that. The victim was arrested at once upon reviving at the hospital and received a cruel 700$ fine.

"'Nope, they just did it and said nothing when I asked them,'" said the victim in the interview. By ignoring the victim's explanation, the police denied their rights to fair trial.

The fine became like an unbearable burden, putting them into the vicious cycle of debt. They did not have any resources left, and the victim was unable to afford lawyers to argue that they were wrongfully imprisoned. As a result, the victim would be unable to obtain justice from the wrongful actions of the officer.

This particular experience brings into question the whole legal system of the server and its attitude towards new members. It is unacceptable for the officer to impose a hefty fine without investigation or discussion.

As our investigation continues, we are digging deeper into the records. We want to know: is this an isolated incident, or is there a pattern of unchecked authority affecting citizens across Redmont?

As someone who recently has come back to the server after the yeah_jaron wave, this article provides some insight on my situation

A legal nightmare, rather strong words. DHS is always happy to review a self-defence appeal for a charge, this is also conveyed to offenders when they are processed at arrest.
