Independent reporting on congressional happenings
Hi Gnomestack, its me, Dogeington
I currently serve as a Magistrate in the DCR and previously served as Attorney General. I was also a leader in the WPR, one of the most influential political parties in Redmont's history. Over this last year, I have worked across numerous government departments, helped draft legislation, and served in Congress myself.
Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on the legislative process and the work of Congress. One thing I have consistently observed is that most legislation receives very little public attention. While a handful of high profile bills generate widespread discussion, the overwhelming majority pass through the legislative process with little scrutiny. As a result, many lawmakers and bill sponsors are never meaningfully challenged on the policies they advance.
I intend to change that.
Beginning this week, I will publish a regular congressional review covering every bill introduced to the House floor. Each report will summarize proposed legislation, examine its potential effects, and track its progress through Congress. Future editions will also cover amendments and other developments as they occur.
My goal is simple: to make Congress more transparent, more understandable, and more accountable to the people it serves.
