The need for community in times of crisis, and stability
Hello DemocracyCraft,
I write to you all as we are in a period of transition (pun intended), and widespread civil unrest. The past few days have made me realise that the severs trans+ community (meaning transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming players) lack a safe space to congregate and socialise. I am proud to announce the official formation of the Redmont Trans+ Network - a place to offer this space.
We are looking for members of the community to volunteer, and I am further happy to say that we are currently in the process of planning Redmont Pride - a community event for the entire LGBT+ community that will culminate in a march through spawn.
And further to that I want to express on behalf of the Network, that we wholeheartedly support the ongoing general strike - though as a community network, we are in no place to cease operations - especially because the situation was sparked by a flagrant display of transphobia by one of the servers owners, no less. I myself, as a transgender woman was relieved when I heard the news that Endeavour was on the way out - and I hope that this "silent partnership" renders him more silent than it does a partner.
We need all the people we can get, so come along - help out, and maybe even volunteer with us!
