June 7, 2026 was a busy day in Redmont, and even with their operations suspended, the country's courts were packed with new cases and filings. Let's get into it

District Court

Vithunder v. joumasepoes69420, 2026 DCR 62.

After the defendant, who has no Discord presence, failed to respond to the court's summons in this breach of contract and misleading conduct case, the court opened an inquest to determine whether a default judgment is warranted. Vithunder filed their narrative yesterday.

Counsel: Palacity for Vithunder

Slime_Mario v. Commonwealth of Redmont, Dkt pending.

Slime Mario filed this lawsuit challenging the Department of Commerce's denial of their business application for "S.M. Law LLC." Mario's suit alleges the Department incorrectly asserted the name "S.M.Law" was incompatible with the in-game firm db even though Mario had already established the firm in-game. In addition, the suit alleges the Department used the absence of certain fields, designated as optional under the Legal Entity Act, to deny the application. Mario seeks a declaratory judgment that the department cannot require information the LEA considers optional, a writ of mandamus ordering the department to register S.M. Law LLC, nominal damages, and legal fees.

Commonwealth of Redmont v. wttn2c, Dkt pending.

This criminal prosecution alleges wttn2c repeatedly killed two officers attempting to interdict a bank robbery. The state has charged wttn2c with one count of Obstruction of Justice for these alleged murders.

Federal Court

Volt Bank v. PanipalMB_123, 2025 FCR 41.

Volt Bank began a standard eviction proceeding against Panipal for the latter's failure to make payments on a VB loan. After some squabbling over evidence, Panipal filed a motion to dismiss, a response to which the court demanded by 6 June. Over 12 hours after the deadline, Omegabiebel, Volt Bank's owner, petitioned the court for a stay or a dismissal without prejudice because their lawyer had fully disappeared from DC. Panipal objected, arguing it was the plaintiff's responsibility to monitor their case. Judge Muggy21 allowed Omegabiebel to respond to that objection, but as of publication, no response is on file.

Supreme Court

In re 2026 FCR 47, 2026 SCR 11.

On 7 June (a little early for the recap, but this is big news) the Supreme Court granted an interlocutory appeal from the Federal Court after that court allowed appellees to amend their complaint after discovery had closed. Appellants allege this is a violation of their due process rights. A response brief is due within 72 hours.

Counsel: MJL for Appellants Sergeant__Balls and LooseLeaf

Yeet_Boy v. Town of Oakridge and Commonwealth of Redmont, 2026 SCR 13.

The Supreme Court docketed this constitutional challenge to Oakridge's constitution. YeetBoy alleges Oakridge's requirement that candidates may not serve three consecutive mayoral terms violates the Redmont Constitution's enumeration of citizens' "right to participate in, and run for elected office, unless as punishment for a crime." Redmont Const. Part V §35(1).

Counsel: Dartanboy for Yeet_Boy

That's all for today! Come back tomorrow for the latest updates from these and all Redmont's cases.
