My Response to the Roy Campaign

If your thinking about voting for Roy405 and Roy404 for President of Redmont, I would ask you to reconsider, and please read these alleged claims.

• Roy405 has allegedly hired people to threaten new players into giving him money.

• Roy404 sells illegal weapons according to one of their own advertisements and this screenshot.

The Roy405/Roy404 campaign runs on a focus on revamping criminal roleplay, and calls for wanted level and crime reforms. This will not benefit crime. Instead, causing the wanted level to drop after a "couple of hours" will actually encourage more people to commit crimes, as people will feel less punishment for committing these crimes.

Furthermore, this crime roleplay idea will not work with the amount of police we currently have. There's not enough police officers right now for the mass waves we've been having, and creating a crime-based server will not help with that. Even more, this campaign wants to introduce lockpicking and the ability to steal from your chestshops, making it impossible to sell items and keep your items safely locked away.

I privately interviewed a DHS member, who will not be named, and got their opinion on Roy405.

"I can remember him being a menace in Aventura prior to me becoming a member of the DHS. He would murder all sorts of people there, and there's a reason that he has such a high bounty. He terrorizes new players."

I don't point out this to get these people fired or stripped of any of their jobs in the government, but instead to point out the Administration we will be getting if this is who we vote for. If that's something you want, I can only warn you, but it's your decision at the end of the day.

But I'm voting Multiman155. I've talked to the guy and he actually cares about the server and it's players. I've reviewed his policy and these are the points, taken directly from his platform, that I mainly agree with as a Doctor, Detective, and Jaronite:

1. Multi wants to integrate and support new players
2. Multi will roll out vaccines for DOH
3. Multi will reintroduce the Paramedic role to prevent diseases
4. Multi will balance the jail and mining time
5. Multi will station police at high-traffic areas to prevent crime
