DC so Capitalistic, Staff is Now CIA

This is an opinion article, also I write this article while I am hospitalized so you can imagine how pissed I am.

I write this to the people, I do not address End in this article directly so Staff, if you're reading this please dont try to place your botched "Respect - Harassment" rule on me, or yall do you, it's clear nothing ever goes past without extreme outrage from the community.

Today, on 19 July 2026 UTC, xEndeavour made an announcement and following that Manager McBrittle made another one.

Opinion - End's Announcement

First of all, that apology is just dogwater. I strongly believe this man needs to step down from his position of owner because he has proven countless times that he cannot be trusted with power!

If you have never heard of consent by the governed, the idea is that you have the consent of the people you govern to govern them. He has lost this consent. I and many others have resonated this because these were not mistakes, these were deliberate actions. When he was indeed confronted about them he just chose to double down. He could have simply apologised the first time he was confronted by DOE Secretary Scassany, or tried to understand when the post was brought back up by someone I will not name here in respect of their privacy. Instead he chose to double down and then took it down again. This apology makes it seem so much less than what the situation actually was. Do not let this man control the narrative.

He promised to change, to be better, but the pattern of behaviour is that this man will continue to double down on his gross actions until the entire server practically revolts against him.

I would now like to dissect his announcement piece by piece. (Because, it is porridge cooked in a witch's pot meant to taint your eyes and thinking.)

During that time, I did not answer a moderator or administrator ticket. I kept my commitment and it required considerable self-restraint.

"It required considerable self-restraint." Oh what a wuss! Boo-hoo. If he thinks this is going to get any sympathy points for this I would like to give it to him in the negatives. He was expected to self restrain because whenever he didn't it also (most of the times) ended up breaking Staff Conflict of Interest policy. This part of the announcement is also acting like he didn't threaten President Multiman about tickets piling up (which certainly sounds like a day-to-day activity to me) because it "clogs [his] discord up". What a cheap way to control the narrative.

I ask that we as a community put an end to the hatred of the last few days and that we disagree better

Nonono! We can disagree, we just.. cant disagree in news. We can disagree, we just cant disagree in #politics. We can disagree, but then we'll be met with him shutting down the conversation in tickets with his ultimate descision. We can disagree but then we'll be hit with dogwater punishments for violations of no contact orders. This is why many people have gone to other servers to speak their opinions because it is no secret that some staff members have been effectively licking his boots by censoring people for him. He acknowledges we can disagree but doesn't acknowledge the fact that when there is such a disagreement, what he says goes.

However, I will finally applaud him for recognizing that he no longer holds the trust of the people of this community. I do not think that the trust will come back for a very very long time, as he acknowledges in the announcement.

Opinion - McBrittle's Announcement

This announcement grossed me out and disgusted me much more than the one End sent.

I xrayed it and below is an accurate representation of what I found:

I am sure McBrittle didn't write this and the comments below are not personally placed against her, so please do not feel offended on it's dissection.

The wiki is, and always has been, a collaborative platform that the Government, Staff, and players can (and are encouraged to) all contribute to. While the Dept. Education does act as its de facto steward, no one group owns the wiki and going forward we will make sure all stakeholders in the wiki are consulted on changes to wiki design and style.

Yes, theres a staff side and then theres the government side. End abused his perms so stop trying to cover up for him.

Also, this is very political from a supposed to be apolitical staff team. There is constant yap over how staff isn't supposed to be dragged into politics and lets be for real, nobody does that without staff entering the political field. Quite hypocritical, no?

The strikes we have seen this month have been incredibly damaging to the fabric of our community. They have fostered a hostile and unproductive culture of hate which is unhealthy and detrimental to our cohesion. It's put undue pressure on our staff, individuals who were not the subject of the strike, and it's led to some people leaving due to the toxicity and pressure which followed.q Moving forward, staff will need to consider further staff action where strikes continues. This may include punishments or the removal of individuals from government positions. Our preference remains resolving disagreements through discussion and collaboration over these kinds of interventions.

This is just deplorable. Staff simply do not acknowledge what brought up these strikes.

This is completely ignorant of the fact that there is a certain owner who makes very controversial decisions and only holds himself accountable after the entire community going against him. You cannot poke a hole into the "fabric of our community" and then expect people not to be mad about it. These strikes were legitimate, stop trying to delegitimize them.

Its so vile and ignorant infact because it implies that the strikes were a one person thing. They were not. If staff were to hold another election, the public would vote for another person WHO HAS A SPINE. This was a community action, and threats to block them will only incite and agitate further. Whoever wrote this announcement knew PR talk, maybe they should also consider how not to agitate a community with threats that won't do shit.

The announcement also claims "undue" pressure on staff. The call for the first strike came from within the staff team by the way. Its not undue at all when Staff as a whole continue to be authoritarian with their actions. If staff push back unduely, the community will also push back, so its funny when its labelled as "undue" then.

Intervening in dissent is just gross. If they dont like the dissent, they should open their ears instead of threatening to cut people's necks.

We all saw xEndeavour's collaborative approach when Scassany confronted him, or the leaked staff chats. This is a two faced message that is just, again, gross. Claiming one thing while doing the other. If staff want us to believe this, they should apply it in practice BEFORE the entire community goes on strike.

I had more to write but my temperature keeps spiking to fevers, this covers my main points.

Someone should tell a certain owner to do better. If I do, some bootlicking staff members will find another reason to deport me.
