Jeff talks about a forming fundamental pillar of the DC economy that has the opportunity to provide jobs to new and experienced players alike. Additionally, Jeff has a unique outlook on the future of the DC atmosphere.
"I’ve seen cities like Oakridge express their interest in wanting more dynamic community events and I think this league will be able to offer that. I would love to see other leagues pop up and if I can set this into motion I would love that."
How Will Games Work?
The game itself will be conducted with bows and spectral arrows, highlighting the player currently in possession of the ball.
During the early age of the league, fees will remain minimal beside simple ticketing. Events like playoffs and the Inaugural game may be behind an additional paywall, Jeff says.
Deals are in progress with local breweries to provide concessions for DCFL games. Always nice to have something help fans get rowdy!
Initially, games will be hosted on independent fields, throughout the country, or even in the wilds. When funds allow, the program plans to have a stadium built in Redmont City.
The schedule will be dynamic, with the time zones of all players and employees taken into account. However, typically things will revolve around an EST schedule.
