To'hajiilee News - RedmontAn Election of Stark Falls and Gains
The United Jaronite Party was wiped out at the polls this Friday, combined with an ABR wave.

Written by HatManMC
Just this Friday, the election results for the House of Representatives and Senate races for the 38th Congress in Redmont came in, and the results were astounding for many different reasons. We saw the rise, fall, and maintenance of many different parties and candidates, from the collapse of the UJP to the ABR wave.
UJP - A Cautionary Tale
The United Jaronites Party is a newer party founded by Troniq Kertel, an up-and-coming politician at the time, in response to the Jaron Wave in late May and early June 2026. The party was founded on a basis of "protecting the rights of the Jaronites", "increasing government oversight of landlords... to decrease the rent prices", and other progressive ideas like moderating the CBD and closing tax loopholes.
This party was extremely influential and popular in the 37th Congress and most of the time during the Jaron wave, as Jaronites flocked to the polls during the special elections common in the 37th. First elected from the UJP was MJL, who later became Deputy Speaker of the House on June 18th. In subsequent special elections, UJP voters also elected Troniq himself, as well as EmeraldGuuy to the House.
However, the party has been in turmoil for the last couple of weeks. Party participation as well as voter support for the party has collapsed, and it's nowhere near the powerhouse it used to be. Additionally, widespread antagonization of the UJP and Jaronites in general hurt the party's chances greatly. Five candidates ran from the UJP for House, and 1 for Senate. Only one was elected to their seat, EmeraldGuuy to the House. House candidates HatManMC, danielaa, hello1341, and Mofen11 were not successful in their races, and MJL was not successful in their Senate race. These were surprising results to analysts, as danielaa was an incumbent from a recent special election and MJL was a well renowned Deputy Speaker of the House.
This election season sent shockwaves through the party. Only hours after the results came out, both MJL and HatManMC announced their leaving of the party. However, due to recent controversies in the House race, candidate HatManMC has stated his return to the party while election disputes are resolved for the 38th Congress.
We reached out to both EmeraldGuuy and MJL for comment regarding the recent election. MJL did not find time to reach out due to their obligations, but EmeraldGuuy had this to say about the election:
"I believe the UJP could have fared slightly better. There were 5 of us that were getting UJP endorsement. Only 2 [candidates], the 3rd and 4th endorsements, actually campaigned. Me and HatManMC were the only two from the UJP to do anything. If the UJP had put me one place lower [on the endorsement list], I would've lost. If the UJP had put HatManMC one place higher, he would've won barely.
I will be fully honest, this election outcome for the UJP was one the two possible scenarios. It was the worse one, but at least we gained one seat, instead of 0."
ABR - The Wave of the Night
ABR, or the Alliance for a Better Redmont, in contrast to the UJP, had an explosive turnout this election season. However, this was expected, considering the tremendous amount of work put in by the ABR team towards the election.
ABR was founded last month by sitting president Multiman155 and his vice president Jada la Banca, intended to be a moderate left party for helping new players and welfare policy. The party quickly gained steam, largely due to the agreeable policies and Multiman's general popularity with the people of Redmont. Before this recent election, ABR had not run any major campaigns as far as To'hajiilee is aware. However, ABR proved itself last night.
ABR won three seats in the House out of their five candidates, with Pokemonish, DrFunks, and Alexis123003 all gaining seats. Additionally, Musclebound was elected to the Senate with the ABR. This was one of the strongest performances of the night, and with it being from a relatively new party, particularly shocking.
However, this wave likely would not have been as big without Multiman himself, as well as the massive funding that he and his peers provided for the party. To'hajiilee was not able to make an independent estimate on the approximate worth of the ads constantly released by /slashad workers, but the cost likely exceeds thousands of dollars. These round the clock ads contributed quite a bit to the campaign effort.
We reached out to Multiman for comment, and he had the following to say.
"I'm proud of our candidates who got elected: Pokemonish, Alexis123003, and DrFunks in the House; and Musclebound in the Senate. They campaigned hard, represented our values well, and are eager to get to work to make a better Redmont for all of our country.
I am happy to have their support for our shared vision, and get to work on addressing big issues facing Redmont, especially housing, jobs, and the fiscal issues we're facing."
This election season was one of the craziest on record, with 50 House candidates and 17 Senate candidates, unprecedented numbers. Additionally, no one party was able to snag a direct majority in the House, meaning that coalition building is likely in order to pass legislation. However, the drama with the election isn't over yet. Stay tuned to To'hajiilee for more info regarding the 38th Congress.
