Juniper BlogGeneral Strike Now
Only one avenue exists to punish the owners for their missteps: Making the server's reputation suffer.

The owners have told us how to make End face consequences: Make the server's reputation suffer. The server is built off the backs of YOUR work. YOU are the people who make this server continue to function, not End. Strike. Stop all government work, stop all commercial work. Sit at /spawn and protest, or don't log in entirely. Don't buy anything. Don't evict plots. Don't continue lawsuits. Make everything stop.
End has not apologized for his unending list of staff policy breaches, and does not intend to. After the owners sorted out a "new agreement" last night, End send me the following message:
What you wrote was incredibly harmful and almost cost the network.
I have been absolutely hammered with haters for the past two weeks all for staff actions dating back years. I've invested in being better and made great progress recently. You peddled people against me and continued to contribute to this cult of personality I have that people hate me just because someone else told them they should.
Anything and everything I do is criticised and catastrophised.
My fellow players, my friends, my enemies. End is blaming ME for "almost costing the network". What have I written that was so harmful? I outlined how he has abused his staff privileges over the last month, not even addressing all of the instances of staff policy breaches during that timeframe. Do not let them convince you that CALLING IT OUT is the harmful part. That is how End is trying to spin my actions. Don't let him get away with it. You all know me and you know how much I love DC. You all know how staunchly I've supported End. You all know how hard this would have been for me to do.
I have not brought up staff actions dating back years. For reference, just in the past few days, and just off the top of my head, End:
- Deleted my message and verbally warned me regarding breaching staff/politics rules when I was criticizing him. This is a breach of COI policy.
- Banned four of our players: Julia, Snow, Agrari, and Cassie, with no reasons given. This is a breach of staff policy.
- Deleted a suggestion calling for his removal. This is a breach of staff COI policy.
- Posted a message in server-announcements on the same day as Prez declarations opening calling for "peace and unity" with the new players. This is campaigning using his staff powers, mixing staff and politics himself.
- Removed Hamdog and Amy from their manager positions unilaterally, and refused to apologize. This is just plain unacceptable.
Do not let them gaslight you into thinking this is just over End refusing to remove Julia's deadname from the forums. It is so much more than that. It is repeated, blatant breaches of staff policy. It is unaddressed cruelty towards players, behaviour that would have anyone else muted or deported. If you have ever had an issue with how End runs DemocracyCraft, now is your time to stand up and say something.
