Yesterday evening, End shared some screenshots of the player counts. As you can see in the screenshots, a really big wave of people came on saturday the 23th of may. In just a few days, thousands of people flooded the server. In just 8 days, 12,215 new players joined. In the 23 days before, just 400 new players joined. Almost all those new players where caused by Jeah Jaron. For everyone that doesn't know: Jeah Jaron is a youtuber with 2,14 million subscribers. He makes Minecraft video's and last month he decided to make a video about DemocracyCraft. Almost 2 million people have seen the video and a lot of them decided to join; the day he uploaded the video, 1826 new players joined and the next week players kept coming. It has been almost 2 weeks since Yeah Jaron has uploaded the video and it seems like the wave has dried up, but this video will have a permanent impact.
