New press conference, what is said?

Mayor Anton announced a number of initiatives aimed at stimulating economic growth in Oakridge at a press conference at Thursday. Businesses registered with the DOC can soon apply to the new Oakridge Business Authority (OBA) and get loans from Oakridge Bank. The town will also create property opportunities for businesses to buy more plots and grow their operations.

Anton has been appointed Head of the Commerce Office to oversee the OBA and current grant programs. The mayor said the plans are part of a broader effort to make Oakridge more business friendly. Applications are still open for several town jobs and positions.
