Juniper BlogThe /pay whale economy: DemocracyCraft's biggest "pure spenders"
Find out which 6 people are responsible for /paying $3M in 12 days, without a penny in return!
Here is the list of DemocracyCraft's biggest "pure spenders" (recieved ~$0 from /pay, but spent the most using /pay) between June 1 2026 and June 12 2026:
razorsharpbread โ$663k
notthelesser โ$592k
Multiman155 โ$587k
xSyncx โ$550k
Bardiya_King โ$357k
xEndeavour โ$252k
There's two Presidential candidates on that list, and they're the two with the most new player support, the only ones who openly advertised paying people to advertise for them, and the ones with the most new player #campaign usage!!!!! If you've been reading my content, you know I was tracking #campaign ads earlier, and assuming it would cost $30,000 to get 277 advertisements sent in Discord.
At $150/ad (which is CERTAINLY not what all of that money is going towards, but that's my unofficial reference point), Multiman155 would have paid for 3913 advertisements. That is 326 ads per day over a 12 day period. There are 288 hours in 12 days. Each person may send one /ad every 15 minutes. With 288 hours in 12 days, and 15 minutes between each ad, the theoretical maximum for one person to send (assuming no sleep, perfect luck, and perfect timing) in that 288 hour period is 1152 (1). 3913 /ads would require three people to send an /ad every 15 minutes for 288 hours straight, plus 500 more.
I'll have more to say on this tomorrow (probably), but I'm sleepy and wanted to get this out sooner rather than later.
(1) 288h * 4 ads/h = 1152
(2) For tomorrow: 4 ads/min * 17280 min = 69,120 ads (haha)
