The ForestryThe Tragedy of The Commons
The destruction of nature with the excuse of disparity

I love nature
Nature is what gives us food, its what gives us air, it is the very source of life and we have utterly disregarded it for the sake of profit and rapid expansion. I cannot explain my dissatisfaction with the state of nature in our great republic and the lands it holds dominion over, the utter revolt I feel at forests of trees half-cut down, or fields stripped down to even their dirt. Even if we look away from the wilds and back to the lands of the republic's core, the only thing we see are ornamental abominations and wilting fields of poor and ill-planned stock.
I call on us, the citizen base of our great nation, to demand change, to demand the restoration of the forests, the protection of old growth, and laws to promote ethically sourced lumber in our buildings. It can seem impossible to grasp change, to taste of the sweetness of a pipe dream future, but I tell you now we can never be defeatists, we must make every effort in our own actions to better the state of nature, and use the utmost will in our voices to advocate for the trees!
This newsletter will focus on actions you can do yourself, or things you can demand of your elected representatives to better the state of our wiltering nature. Additionally, we will occasionally talk about the strides being made by individuals and organizations to fix the byproducts of civilized progress.
