The Central Flats Merchant Republic's History, Explained

Introduction

what's pictured above is the now Costco Avenue, leading into New Anderella. 2 Years ago, when the 1st CFMR (Central Flats Merchant Republic) was fighting for it's survival. Another man, one that would presumably help destroy it, took a photo of (Old) Anderella in roughly the same area. Inadvertently it helped preserve what would be one of the first towns that would be home to the CFMR.

The Man, the Myth, The $1.50 Hotdog

This is .CostcoRep2439, he's one of the most important men in CFMR History. Now I have never met .CostcoRep(2439) so I cannot tell you how he got his love for Costco. But I can tell you that it was on April 7th, 2024, when CostcoRep's love for Democracy Craft began. And it was him who, overlooking a valley on a mountain will call it his home (after his old one got blown up). And that mountain and valley's name? Anderella.

Making the CFMR

With that came the town itself, so alongside two people who's name has been lost to time, he began work on the now Holiday Road, which branches off the Hampton road network. Bending around the south end of Mount Anderella, coming towards an end in the valley, making way for a mob spawner and extensive grid network. Alongside these came the first government building, sharing it with CostcoRep's own store, Shears. As the town grew, the need for a constitution was becoming more prevalent. So, residents of Anderella drafted up what would be the constitution for the First Central Flats Merchant Republic (CFMR), featuring a Assembly of 3 Assemblymen which is still used today in the 3rd CFMR.

Expansion and Bloodshed

.CostcoRep would continue the expansion of Holiday Road leading into the Ledgestone Tunnel which was incomplete, but now a days leads to Havenvalley (another defunct town which will be covered later). Now as Anderella was growing it caught the attention of the 1008er Mafia based around the coords of -821, 96. -596 (which is now crop field apart of Abedul Valley). The Mafia then sends two members (Coptop_YT and Alexthelillion) to Kill all the pets of Anderella's residents. In response .CostcoRep would declare war on the Mafia leading to the first battle in the skies of Anderella. While the battle left minimal damages to the city below in an effort to protect the pets, .CostcoRep would set up "Pettington Petcare". More improvements would come as .CostcoRep would Rep Costco by adding one to Anderella, alongside this came Public Mob Spawner 2 (presumably much cooler).

The Second Battle of Anderella

"Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt" -Sun Tzu.

That was the plan, as CopTopYT would come back going for a sneak attack coming in hot on an elytra. This caught .CostcoRep off guard, and as the battle raged on 1008er and Anderella would call up Reinforcements to the battle. Anderella managing an extra soul by the name of voidOwO to defend, in what would be waves of relentless attacks by 1008er. And this was witness by two scouts (YeetBoy and Bepus) of the GER (Galactic Empire of Redmont). In the battle's end it would cause heavy damage to Mob Spawner 1 causing water to leak onto the grid system. But no effort was made into repairs as resources was focused on defense architecture. The defense includes Foxholes, Trenches, Trident Pools, and flooding of buildings to prevent further damages.

The Fall of Anderella

It turns out that the GER was very keen on testing the defense so in an alliance with the 1008er Mafia, they teamed up to turn Anderella into a Tax Writeoff. It started off bad, very bad for Anderella. As they would take voidOwO and his pets as hostages in his very own home (which was unroofed btw). So .CostcoRep realizing the severity of the situation launched everything at the enemy, which includes WMDs in multiple counterattacks. But this would be futile so in a joint decision, both .CostcoRep and voidOwO would disband the First CFMR.

Nebrasken64

He was not apart of the CFMR. Joining the server around May 2024 he would venture into the ruins of Anderella and established Fort Anderella. Immediately after making a home he would lavacast the remains of the Costco calling the eyesore "2b2t Land". It was also this time that he began the deforestation of the Central Flats, using the profits of this operation to buy guns and booze at "Bum Bar" formally located in C074. He also took it upon himself to expand Holiday Road and subsequently Ledgestone Tunnel into Haven Valley. Another valley named to the mountain east of it, Mount Haven.

The APU and the 1st win

contrary to popular belief the APU does not stand for "Auxiliary power unit" in this case. This is the Anderella Player Union, founded by Nebrasken64. Now remember how eariler I said how Nebrasken has a habit of deforestation? Well one of the places was in Greenmont Territory (another wild nation), in which it was so deforested, SpaceHombre (The Leader of Greenmont) would coin the term "Barren Valley" as the regions name.

Sidenote that area seems to be apart of the town of Mountain now, and the restrictions of the "Barren Valley Historic District" has been removed since atleast April 27th as Mountain expands.

And along that term came tensions, tensions that boiled over when an APU force led by Nebrasken64 alongside voidOwo invaded Greenmont for Logging Rights. What came was a quick and easy win, as it turns out there was only one defender, Spacehombre, and he didn't use guns. So hastly he surrendered, and under what was to be know as the Treaty of Kirkland. While Greenmont opposed all conditions in the treaty by getting into another war, they again... lost. Thus came was an era of peace (that was broken by a few skirmishes), in which the logging of the area surrounding WildStop (Spacehombre's shop) and an APU embassy in Barren Valley would be established.

The Next Chapter

After that win Nebrasken64 would come to Havenvalley to build a town out of the formerly huge supply of Birch trees. And with that win he was promptly charged with violent crimes, bankrupted and left the server. And Havenvalley would have probably stayed as a small community if it weren't for the return of a man. See, as .CostcoRep and voidOwO was repairing the lands of Anderella and the 1st CFMR, he would stumble upon Havenvalley, what would come is to be the founding of one of the greatest Wild towns in the server history.
