Courtlistener12โ14 June 2026 Case Updates
First weekend edition. No more DCR.
Welcome to this Weekend Roundup of Courtlistener!
Industry News
Summit Law changed its logo. Now, instead of claiming that it is the District Court, it acknowledges it just rolled off the turnip truck.
Congrats to Sofia and Eenza on their election to the RBA!
Finally, the DCR sucks. The judges are doing there best, but it's a miserable place that mostly takes up the first ten grafs (and 45 minutes) of this newsletter. At some point, there's only so much pointing and laughing we can do. So, starting today, CL will only focus on the Federal and Supreme Courts. For my sanity and for yours. If you think a DCR case deserves to be here, ping me. Otherwise, onto the (important) cases.
Federal Court
mar_milk v. Plura72 and Social Democrat Party, 2026 FCR 32.
This one's in the middle of discovery, but the notable development is that Judge Matthew100x issued a conduct strike and fine to dodrio3 for failure to answer questions posed. The judge cited the fact hat both of the sanctioned witnesses were attorneys who knew better, justifying harsher sanctions. Dearev, who only received a $1,000 fine, eventually did reply.
Counsel: Sampois for plaintiff marmilk_
**[Commonwealth of Redmont v. Gregg, [2026] FCR 50.](https://www.democracycraft.net/threads/commonwealth-of-redmont-v-gregg-2026-fcr-50.38833/)**
Chief Justice Smallfries in no uncertain terms dismissed a claim against Gregg, an NPC, for lack of standing. The message for would-be litigants against NPCs: [NPCs] are staff-implemented automatons, nothing more. Until Congress creates some rights for them or staff declares otherwise, they are little more than objects."
Counsel: AmityBlamity for the Commonwealth; Dartanboy of PDD for defendant Gregg
Supreme Court
Nothing new this weekend.
That's all for today! Come back tomorrow for the latest updates from these and all Redmont's cases.

This is not just about Julia's deadname. End's staff abuse goes far beyond one incident. Don't let them control the narrative.
