How did two of the greatest Wild towns fall

Author's note

This is the Second Article to a multi-part series on the history of the C.F.M.R. (Central Flats Merchant Republic). While it is not required to go read the other article, I highly recommended it. As it goes into more detail on stuff that we'll lightly touch up on here. Other than that I hope you enjoy this article :D.

The Founding of Havenvalley

This started after Nebrasken64 and the APU (Anderella Player Union) achieved peace through bloodshed, through The Treaty of Kirkland. So Nebrasken64 bringing his burning desire for logging, ventured east walks along Holiday Road, through the Ledgestone Tunnel into Haven Valley (Name that for Mount Haven nearby). So, on May 24th, 2024 alongside Holiday Road, the town of Havenvalley was formerly established. The first few homes were built out of the common birch trees that blanketed the valley. Then Nebrasken64 got charged, with "Violent Crimes". Now that legal battle must have costed him a pretty penny as it left him bankrupted, so with that he left the server.

The Growing Havenvalley

Now, you'll think a town who's leader is no longer on the server will be the end of it's existence. And that would be the case if it weren't for a specific person returning to the area, .CostcoRep(2439). He alongside VoidOwO (if you want more info on these people I recommend reading the article on Anderella and the APU) would return to Anderella to begin restoration after being abandon during the dissolution of the 1st C.F.M.R. During that time he would discover the town of Havenvalley and move his house there.

One of his first acts there would be expanding the grid network by major roads like Havenvalley Ave (which would be integrated into the Garand Highway), and Olive Loopa (Formerly Olive Loop but changed by member lcn). In the Southern Side, the Havenvalley Commerical Center was established, and it would be home to the 1st Havenvalley Courthouse. You can see the remains of the courthouse off to the left side of the Ledgestone tunnel, if coming from New Anderella. In this peace time, .CostcoRep would also write the constitution for the 2nd C.F.M.R with the following positions of power.

• President
• Grand Judge
• APU Party Leader (In charge of infrastructure and aides in wars)

with that being said the first sets of government leaders are WrldOfGuz (President), xtub12345 (Grand Judge), and .CostcoRep2439 (Party Leader).

After sorting the politics the town would continue to grow with a public gardens getting set up. They also finally finished fixing Anderella after the disaster that was the life of the 1st C.F.M.R, using the former town as the junction between Garand Highway and Holiday Road. It would be steady pace of growth and immigration that led Havenvalley to the peak of its population on July 14th. With atleast 25 players living in it and the town used up the whole valley. It probably would have stayed that way until the next day.

Suprise, it's an attack

July 15th, 2024 the day when peace died. On that day, .CostcoRep organized a diplomatic summit at the Technofied Amphitheatre in Northern Haven Valley, in response to attacks on Greenmont by the 1008er Mafia. People of interest at the summit was Spacehombre (the man that tried to single handly defend Greenmont aganist Nebrasken's APU), and GER (Galactic Empire of Redmont) soldiers Yeet_boy and Beepus. The summit started off with .CostcoRep condemning the 1008er mafia for said attacks, and after him it was t the two GER soldier's turn to speak.

As they came onto the stage, Yeet_Boy proclaimed Havenvalley is under GER control and proceed to launch a surprise attack upon the summit. After a what I can assume brief battle, .CostcoRep surrender Havenvalley and the C.F.M.R as a whole vassal to the GER to prevent further damage to the city. The GER wasted no time getting a yes man in charge, appointing SamJD261 as governor of Havenvalley. Though at his Inauguration speech in the Havenvalley courthouse, the new HLA (Havenvalley Liberation Army), led by .CostcoRep attacked Havenvalley, getting it under C.F.M.R control again. Over the following days, heavy fighting in the streets led to major damage for Havenvalley and the obliteration of the courthouse multiple times.

Democracy

Meanwhile, on July 25th, the first elections for the C.F.M.R was taking place over 3 days (if you want a list of canidates look in page 47th of "Early CF" in New Anderella). And to no shock, .CostcoRep won in a landside, his first act being to create a miltia. And it was a shake and bake for them as hours after the result the 1008er Mafia and the GER would launch a joint offensive on Havenvalley. With they had great defense, with a preference for aerial combat to minimize damage Havenvalley manage to put them on the retreat (while suffering a good amount of damage.

Beating up a dead horse

But it would be in the dead of night, when notorious waffling waffle lover ko531 would swoop in and destroy whats left of Havenvalley and since the destruction of havenvalley the GER hasn't pressed attacks on it giving an unoffical end to the battle.
Now here is the interesting thing. When researching this series I came across a fact on the wiki that ko531 also destroyed Anderella the town of the first C.F.M.R. Now I cannot confirm that as the person who wrote that is now no longer active. So if ko, you're reading this, I would love to hear your side of the story. Anyways onto-

San Mateo

San Mateo came about after the first initial surprise attack as a refugee camp to the west of Havenvalley. With the first building being a "Holiday Inn sheltering 3 people (but only 2 of them lived in it). Over the span of a month it would attract residents, with one of them being KingBOB building Bob Tower which stands to this day. It would be the beganing of a building craze followed by "Trump tower", the Haven Valley Memorial Center, (with Trump Tower and HVMC being part of the "Wild World Trade Center 2"), followed up by a Costco.

The Costco as of 7/14/26

Alongside the Costco came the San Mateo Courthouse built by lcn (fun fact he also shopped at the original costco in Anderella before it blew up).

Expansion

It was also this time that the 8th and 9th amendments were added to the constitution, formalizing statehood and making a criminal code. And the first of these states was... Estadocencerto (tongue twister). Another state was soon added as in a deal strucked with Greenmont. The lands called "Barren Valley" became part of the C.F.M.R as a State.

To Lower Tensions, And Lower San Mateo into the Grave

As San Mateo expanded, .CostcoRep founded the DoS (Department of State) and put BardiyaKing, a GER member to smooth things over with the GER. But as time drew nearer towards the 2nd elections in September, .CostcoRep suspected that BardiyaKing was drafting citizenship to GER members to pollute the election. So as President .CostcoRep appointed himself a Marshall. Wrote a search order of the DoS Office, taking files and wrecking the office. In response to this, Bardiya_King would go storm into his office on the floor below. In which out of frustration, .CostcoRep would shoot him, then dismiss him as DoS Secretary.

Bardiya would promptly sue President .CostcoRep in the case Bardiya_King v CFMR, presided by Grand Judge of CFMR, lcn, what followed is what can only be described as a s*it show. When the day came and both the prosecution and defense gave opening statements. lcn could not find a legal basis at all saying quote

"Y'all need a constitution convention" lcn quote from the book "Early CF" by EnemyBerry1069

before resigning on the spot as Grand Judge. So as both sides and onlookers exited the courthouse they're attacked by you guessed it. The GER and 1008er Mafia, which will be the beginning of the 72 hour San Mateo Confinement war. Which ends in the dissolution of the CFMR by .CostcoRep in the towns underground bunker.

So after getting incredibly bored researching I wrote this masterpiece of Havenvalley and San Mateo

Conclusion

As someone who joined too early and rejoined too late, I can't tell you much except for what's left. It's that feeling when I'm taking a break to think about how great these towns were, like how a child would imagine the Roman Empire. There will be stuff that has been lost to time and thus I can't tell you about it. So I hope you enjoyed this and see you next time?
